Your phone makes you fat

Your smartphone, tv and laptop might be the reason you're not losing weight.

A good night sleep is important for physical and mental health. Even one bad night of sleep can cause metabolic changes such as disturbed feelings of hunger and saturation. A disturbed sleeping pattern can lead to insulin resistance, which can result in weight gain and type 2 diabetes.

When it gets dark outside the body produces melatonin, a hormone that makes us feel sleepy and prepares us to have a good night of rest. Day light, artificial light and especially blue light from phone, tv and laptop hinders melatonin production. In that way these devices can block weight loss.

The solution is super cozy and simple: Light a few candles, dim the lights, turn of your phone and tv, and have a great night!
