You do not have time to exercise for 1 hour a day and cook a healthy meal? But you do have time to watch Netflix and wait for pizza delivery? Where you put your time, money and energy is where your priority lies.

Why you fail at reaching your goal

Many people try to reach a goal but for some reason do not succeed, or not in a sustainable way. Maybe you have lost weight in the past but just as easily bounced back to your old weight. or you can't seem to go to bed on time every day, or stop smoking, or you always forget to bring your balls towork to say no to your boss.

There are a million reasons why all our intentions and attempts to change fail. All those reasons and explanations have in common that they start off great and super motivated but end up in a disappointment. Before you know it you think it is your destiny to be overweight, to be smoker, or to be the office doormat. Before you know it you are convinced that these irrational ideas are the truth, which they are not.

3 success factors

If you want to be successful in reaching your goal and maintaining results, 3 preconditioning factors all need to be in place: 

1.       Time

2.       Money

3.       Energy

If you would have to make a top 3 , where does mostof your time, money, and energy go to? Is your goal in that top three?
If this is the case, you are probably on the right track.  

Otherwise: Everything in life starts with making time for what is important to you. If you don't make the time it is simply not important enough.  

You do not have time to exercise for one hour a day, but you do have time to watch Netflix?

You do not have time to cook a healthy meal but you do have time wait for the pizza delivery?

You do not have the time and the energy to say no to your boss at work, but you do have the energy to be treated like the office doormat?

Where you put your time, your energy, and your money is where your priority lies.

If you want to make a change in your life, if you really want to reach that goal, then put your time, energy, and money into it and great things will happen. Investing in yourself declares that you matter, so why not do yourself this favor and set yourself up for success.
